WPM Real Estate Management Promotes Korrie Borkowski to Multifamily Director of Operations
Baltimore-based WPM Real Estate Management (WPM) is pleased to announce the promotion of Korrie Borkowski from Senior Regional Property Manager to Director of Operations for its Multifamily Real Estate division. In this expanded role, Borkowski will work directly with Multifamily President Melissa Gambuto, overseeing day-to-day operations for the division while providing strategic leadership and support to regional managers and their teams.
A seasoned leader with 25 years of experience in the multifamily real estate industry, Borkowski joined WPM in 2022 as a Regional Property Manager and was promoted to Senior Regional Property Manager in June 2024. Throughout her tenure, she has demonstrated exceptional skills in leadership, asset management, team building, and client relations. Known for her proactive problem-solving approach, Borkowski collaborates effectively across departments, bringing people together to address challenges and implement solutions with speed and precision.
As Director of Operations, Borkowski will be responsible for supporting Gambuto in the management and growth of the division, while also spearheading initiatives to enhance operational efficiencies and elevate client satisfaction. She will oversee regional teams, lead training and development efforts, and serve as a champion for the company’s core values of integrity, strength, excellence, and energy. Her ability to mentor and inspire others will play a key role in fostering a culture of excellence and driving meaningful growth.
“Korrie has been instrumental in driving results for our teams and clients. Her ability to foster strong relationships and develop those around her is unmatched,” said Melissa Gambuto, President of WPM’s Multifamily Real Estate Division. “In this new role, her leadership will be critical as we expand our geographic footprint and continue to focus on creating value for our clients and opportunities for our Associates. I’m confident she’ll help us operate more efficiently and elevate the experience for our teams and clients alike.”
Although she will eventually transition her current portfolio to a new Senior Regional Property Manager, Borkowski will retain oversight of Towsontown Place, ensuring she remains closely connected to on-the-ground operations as well as client and resident needs. In addition to her operational focus, she will play a vital role in cultivating lasting client relationships, implementing policies, and codifying processes to support the division’s continued growth.
“I’m truly honored to step into this new role and support our regional teams in an even deeper capacity,” said Borkowski. “Our success as an organization relies on how we work together to develop and empower our people, fostering strong relationships with our clients and providing exceptional service to our communities. I’m excited to build on the strong foundation we’ve established to ensure we continue to foster collaboration and drive meaningful growth for our teams and clients.”
At the heart of everything we do is a culture built on trust, unity, and a shared commitment to excellence. I’m excited to continue building on the strong foundation we've established, and to ensure that we continue to grow through collaboration, training, and unwavering support for one another.”
Borkowski holds the Certified Apartment Portfolio Supervisor (CAPS) certification and is a member of the Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM) and Maryland Multifamily Housing Authority (MMHA), where she previously served on the board. With a focus on associate development, efficient operations, and innovative solutions, Borkowski’s appointment positions WPM for continued growth and enhances its impact in the multifamily real estate industry.
